Business Coordinator (Full-time)

Be the person who keeps everything moving.

📍 Frans Perssons Väg 6, Gothenburg, Sweden

Start: ASAP

At Food Radar Systems, we develop and build microwave-based equipment that helps food producers detect foreign objects in their production processes. We’re a hands-on team, with global customers, that values clarity, solutions and getting things done.

What this role is really about

In this high-impact position, you’ll be the operational backbone of our daily operations, enabling seamless purchasing, production flow, travel logistics, invoicing and event coordination.

You help us:

  • ⚙️ keep operations smooth and scalable
  • 💡 bring structure and consistency to systems and daily processes
  • 📈 enable growth without complexity
  • 🤝 over all create structure that helps people do their best work

We care more about finding the right person than checking every box on a requirements list. If you like taking ownership, bringing order to complexity, and continously improving workflows through systems and smart processes, you’ll thrive here.

What you’ll do

Purchasing & production planning

  • Place purchase orders, follow up deliveries, and maintain supplier communication
  • Track material needs and stock levels; support production planning and prioritization
  • Ensure information flows and documentation are structured, enabling efficient production

Travel, shipping & logistics

  • Book travel for team members and handle travel administration
  • Coordinate inbound/outbound shipments, work with freight forwarders/carriers, and track deliveries
  • Handle exceptions and last-minute changes when plans shift

Invoicing & admin

  • Support customer invoicing (collecting data, issuing invoices, basic follow-up)
  • Handle supplier invoices (receiving, matching documentation, preparing for approval)
  • Keep recurring admin processes and documentation organized and reliable

Trade shows & events

  • Coordinate trade show participation: bookings, deadlines, materials, logistics, and staffing
  • Make sure everything is in place on time so the team can focus on execution

Office & “everything that needs doing”

  • Office supplies, service providers, and practical day-to-day structure
  • Be a natural go-to person for coordination and continuous improvement

Who you are

You’re:

  • Highly organized and proactive
  • Comfortable owning tasks end-to-end
  • Strong communicator and collaborator, who enjoys a role with variety
  • Enthusiastic about improving how work actually gets done
  • Tech-savvy and curious with tools (Excel/Google Sheets, ERP, planning tools)

Experience nice-to-have, not deal-breaking:

  • Purchasing, logistics or production in a manufacturing environment
  • Freight/shipping documentation and coordination
  • Invoicing or finance admin (in collaboration with external accounting)
  • Professional English (spoken and written)

What we offer

  • Competitive pay + wellness perks
  • Real ownership and impact from day one
  • A role with variety and room to grow
  • A small, collaborative team and improvement-driven culture
  • Short decision paths and visible results from your work
